What is a Working With Children Check?

A Working With Children Check (WWCC) is a background check that assesses whether a person poses a risk to children. It checks criminal history, apprehended violence orders, and other relevant records. In Victoria, NSW, and most other states it is called a WWCC. In Queensland it is called a Blue Card, in the NT an Ochre Card, and in the ACT a Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
